TBS Wants More Of ‘Meet The Browns’
TBS has ordered 80 additional episodes of the Tyler Perry comedy Meet the Browns, according to Variety.
Sources close to the series said the show, which premiered Jan. 7 to an audience of 3.7 million total viewers, will be brought back this summer as a companion to the Perry-produced House of Payne.
Currently in the midst of a 10-episode test run, Meet the Browns yielded the highest-rated TBS premiere since the House of Payne bow in June 2007.
