Solange Knowles’ “Kenya” To Raise Awareness For Global Water Crisis
It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything from Solange, Beyoncé’s sister, who has been busy working as a club DJ. She returned to the studio recently to record the song “Kenya” which she hopes to use to raise awareness to the global water crisis.

The atmospheric song will benefit the Coca-Cola Africa Foundation’s RAIN (Replenishing Africa Initiative) with proceeds from the track being used to establish clean water standards for a several African countries including Uganda, Cameroon, and Rwanda.
Solange’s brother-in-law, Jay-Z, also worked to raise awareness to the water crisis in Africa several years ago when he started the Water For Life project.
