Oprah’s ‘Weight’ Gained Her 1.1 Million New Fans!
Here goes another one from Perez Hilton:
“Oprah Winfrey had a big January, no pun intended. The ‘media blitz’ dedicated to her weight gain helped her sell 1.1 million copies of O Magazine’s January 2009 edition. It was the best-selling issue of O in 3 years. The January issue featured a personal essay penned by Oprah that explained how she gained back 40-pounds in four years.
Appearing on the cover in a before-and-after image of herself, she asks the question, “How did I let this happen again?” Subsequently, the cover and the story were picked up by media outlets across the country.”
Once she loses the weight, America will be there with her every pound she sheds along the way.
