Phonte To Release Debut Solo Album On 6th Anniversary Of “The Minstrel Show”
In the 8 years since Little Brother jumped on the scene, fans have been clamoring for a solo album from one of the group’s emcees, Phonte. In this exclusive TheUrbanDaily interview, Phonte sheds a little light on where he’s at with the project.
Phonte intends to drop the album on September 13th, which just happens to be the 6 year anniversary of Little Brother’s album, The Minstrel Show, which was the last album to feature 9th Wonder as a full-time member of the group.
Now that 9th and Phonte have patched up their differences, Phonte also revealed that 9th will be handling the bulk of the production duties on the album!
