Bruno Mars Producer Needlz Wins ASCAP For "Just The Way You Are"
Producer Khari “Needlz” Cain was honored at the 28th Annual ASCAP Pop Awards ceremony for his work on Bruno Mars’ Grammy Award-winning smash, “Just The Way You Are.” After a decade of producing hits for 50 Cent (“Piggy Bank”) Jadakiss (“Letter To B.I.G.”) and Lupe Fiasco (“Hurt Me Soul”) and many other hip-hop staples, Needlz has made a splash in the Pop arena. During his recent visit to NY he sat down with TheUrbanDaily.com’s Senior Editor and production enthusiast to talk about the ASCAP win and working with Lupe on his latest album, Lasers.
