Jon Stewart Defends Common On The O'Reilly Factor
Jon Stewart Ethers Bill O’Reilly Over Common White House Drama
Last night on The O’Reilly Factor, Jon Stewart took Bill O’Reilly to task about his objections towards rapper Common’s visit to the White House. Stewart tells O’Reilly that even Bono wrote a song about Leonard Peltier and that Bob Dylan wrote a song about Rubin “Hurricane” Carter who was also convicted of murder. Both artists have been invited to the White House. (watch Common’s performance HERE.)
“You have a lot of people who can’t go to the White House because they’ve written songs about people convicted of Murder”–Jon Stewart.
