FACT OF THE DAY: LL Cool J Dropped Out Of High School To Record His Debut Album
LL Cool J was a smart man by catering to the females. Canibus once said “99 percent of your fans wear high heels.” Those fans in high heels helped LL sell millions of records. He was still known to be a problem and has battled some of the most illest in the rap game and came out on top. LL did make a move that would be considered to most not so smart. He dropped out of Andrew Jackson High School to record his debut album “Radio” which was released in 1985 and was certified platinum. He eventually returned to school to receive his GED. LL reflected on dropping out of school in a Jet Magazine cover story.
