FACT OF THE DAY: Rah Digga Was Originally Q-Tip's Artist
Most people know Rah Digga from her days of being the first lady of Busta Rhymes’s Flip Mode Squad. Recently Rah Digga stopped by the TheUrbandaily.com offices for an interview and revealed that she was originally signed to A Tribe Called Quest and was supposed to be Q-Tip’s artist.
“At the time I got with them they were breaking up so I became Q-Tip’s artist,” she explained. “I worked with him for about a year but I don’t think he was in a space to develop a new artist. He was converting to Islam at the time, the group was breaking up and he had a house fire and lost everything.”
