2009 Oscar Winner List Is A Bust

Well Mr. Sid Ganis can now rest assured that he can trust his staff. The list of Oscar winners posted on Afrojacks.com was not only a bust as a marketing scheme, it was way off in its guesses.

Of the 24 categories the “final” list only scored eight accurate predictions including the shoe-in for Best Picture, Slumdog Millionaire. The only two Black nominees, Viola Davis and Taraji P. Henson (pictured above) lost out to Penelope Cruz for Best Supporting Actress. The other sixteen categories were all a wash. With an accuracy of 33% we give this list an epic FAIL.

However, we thought Iron Man might actually get best Visual Effects since they managed to make Terrence Howard disappear rather quickly. Doh!
