“Shark Night 3D” Ends Summer Movie Season With Bite
The summer movie season is quickly coming to a close, which means there isn’t much worth writing about, with regards to films that feature African-American talent in prominent roles.
Opening next weekend, September 2nd, is the creature-feature Shark Night 3D. It is a film you’d love if last year’s Piranha 3D rubbed you the right way. It’s essentially the same thing–killer fish, water, beautiful woman in various stages of undress, cartoonish blood and gore presented on the big screen in all its 3D glory.
The PG-13 rated comedy/horror features the talents of Sinqua Walls – a relative newcomer with mostly TV credits, including roles on Friday Night Lights, Lincoln Heights and Passions.
If this is your kind of film, be sure to support it on September 2nd.
