Tyler Perry Signs On For 35 New Episodes of "For Better Or Worse"

TV viewers are about to get extra helpings of dysfunctional Black love with a second season of “For Better Or Worse.” TBS has signed on for 35 new episodes of Tyler Perry’s latest sitcom. The show revolves around the continued marital woes of Marcus (Michael Jai White) and Angela (Tasha Smith) characters from the 2007 film “Why Did I Get Married?”

The show premiered in November 2011, averaging 2.9 million viewers during its debut season. ‘For Better Or Worse” finished as basic cable’s #1 sitcom of 2011 and as the #1 show amongst black viewers.
