Lil Wayne Speaks On His ‘Rebirth’

In an interview with Soundcheck, an online performance series sponsored by Walmart, rapper Lil Wayne explains the influences for his new album Rebirth along with what fans can expect to hear on the album [click to read].

“The fans should expect from the new album more electricity, more power, more everything, more me…It’s still me at the end of the day,” Lil Wayne explained in his interview with Soundcheck. His reasoning for releasing a rock influenced album was similar to earlier comments he made on The View last week [click to watch].

So far two singles from Rebirth have been released, “Prom Queen” [click to watch] and “Hot Revolver” [click to listen]. Both songs are heavily rock influenced.
