‘Basketball Wives’ Producers To Sue Jennifer Wiliams For Breach Of Contract
Jennifer Williams better get her attorneys on the horn. The producers of Basketball Wives are going after the money in her pockets.
As we all know, Jennifer Williams is suing Evelyn Lozada’s assistant Nia Crooks for slapping her in the face during a get together at a race track. The cast and crew have sided against Jennifer claiming she is only filing a lawsuit against Crooks for publicity. Since filing the suit, Williams has gone on several radio shows and bashed the show for its negative portrayal of African-American women. In response to Jennifer’s media blitz, The producers are looking to file a suit against her claiming it is in breach of her contract.

Basketball Wives big-wigs believe Jennifer’s bashing of the show is in breach of contract because their contract states cast members cannot participate in any interviews or media appearances without consent from the show. The cast’s agreement also states the cast is forbidden to speak negatively of the reality show. Producers feel Jennifer Williams is “ruing the brand.”
No suit has been filed against Williams on behalf of the show yet, but in could definitely be done in the near future.
