After defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 85 to 75 Doc Rivers’ Celtics will face the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals and another chance at an NBA title.
Rajon Rondo posted his 9th postseason triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Andre Iguodala scored 18 points, and Elton Brand and Jrue Holiday had 15 apiece for the 76ers.
The Celtics have a day to rest before they take on the Miami Heat on Monday, who are still without forward Chris Bosh. The Heat eliminated the Celtics last year in the semi finals.
