REWIND: David Banner Remembers Being Homeless, Recording In His First Car [VIDEO]
The first car David Banner bought with his record money was a Cadillac Escalade, but that wasn’t technically his first ride. On his song “Faith” Banner calls out his true first vehicle, a maroon red Chevy Astro van. So for our first installment of TheUrbanDaily.com’s “My First Car” Banner tells us how important that Astro van was to his survival.
“I was basically homeless sleeping in my van,” he tells TheUrbanDaily.com. “That’s the famed maroon van people talk about…that was my house.”
