Rihanna Admits She Was Concerned For Chris Brown: “He Needed Help”

Rihanna broke down into tears discussing the horrible February day when she was beaten by her then boyfriend Chris Brown. It has been 3 years since the altercation and Ri Ri is finally able to talk about her state of mind during the media storm.

“I felt like the only person they hate right now is him. It was a weird, confusing space to be in because as angry as I was, as angry and hurt and betrayed,” said the “Where Have You been singer.

“I just felt like he made that mistake because he needed help, and who’s gonna help him? Nobody’s gonna say he needs help. Everybody’s gonna say he’s a monster without looking at the source. I was more concerned about him.”
