Reggie Miller Inducted Into Basketball Hall Of Fame
I see Reggie Miller in my dreams. Any hardcore New York Knicks fan remembers what happened in the fourth quarter of Game 5 in 1994, as well as 8 points in 8.9 seconds. The second all-time leading three point scorer in NBA history officially became a legend on Friday night (9/7/12).
Miller was inducted into the pro basketball Hall Of Fame, the culmination of a brilliant career all spent in an Indiana Pacers uniform. With his older sister Cheryl, arguably the best women’s player ever, by his side Reggie closed out the ceremony with a speech that thanked his family, his teammates and his adversaries (Michael Jordan, a bitter rival, was in the audience) with equal grace.
