Brittney Griner Sets Record With 8th Career Dunk In Baylor Win
Remember when Lisa Leslie dunked in a WNBA game everyone lost their mind? Hell, any woman dunking a basketball made highlights around the country. Baylor’s other-worldly center Brittney Griner is starting to make dunking a basketball light work. One game after their 42-game winning streak was snapped (their first loss in 20 months) against Stanford, the Lady Bears bounced back to beat University of Tennessee-Martin 82-67.
The story of the game, however, was Griner who broke an NCAA women’s record with her 8th in-game dunk of her career. She broke a record she shared with Candace Parker. Eight dunks and she’s not even out of college, think about that for a second. Safe to say she will be the number one overall pick when she turns pro.
