De La Soul & Al Green Albums Chosen For Library Of Congress Recording Registry
De La Soul‘s landmark 3 Feet High And Rising and Al Green‘s soul classic Let’s Stay Together albums have been chosen for the Library Of Congress’ 2010 National Recording Registry. The albums were among 25 total recordings chosen.
The recordings were chosen by Librarian of Congress James H. Billington with the help of the Library’s National Recording Preservation Board for their cultural, aesthetic, or historical impact.
