Drake is consistent if nothing else.  Love him or hate him, he gives you what he knows best from one project to the next. Despite the title of this new album being “Nothing Was The Same,” we’re pretty convinced that things are pretty much the same for Drake on his latest audio self-help book. The themes of loving unavailable women and lamenting the emotional price of fame and wealth are still alive and well.

If you haven’t gotten a sneak peek of the leak here are 10 examples of how “Nothing Was The Same,” is a whole lot of the same…with a little help from our friend Dave Chappelle.

10) Drake Is Still Rich…

With over 5 Million albums sold Drake has never run out of ways to remind us of how much money he has. Despite rapping that he is “Rich enough not to have to tell them that I’m rich,” he dedicates plenty of bars on NWTS to that very pursuit:

“Comin off the last record/I’m getting 20 million off the record/Just to off these records/ N*gga, that’s a record..” – “Tuscan Leather”

9) And We’re All Still Jealous…

“N*ggaz downplaying the money but that’s what you do when the money down…jealousy in the air tonight I can tell/ I will never understand that, oh well..” – “The Language”

8) Drake Is Still Having Lots Of Sex…

“P*ssy so good you gotta come see me on tour and you flying first class” – “The Language”

“How you feel about coming home wit a n*gga for the night?/if you nervous hit the lights/ I know we only fuckin outta spite/ cuz your man don’t do you right…” – “Wu-Tang Forever”

7) And Hates When Women Get Attached…

“Come get your girl, she been here for three days and she  way too attached to me…” – “The Language”

6) But Wants To Still Be Attached…

“Girl don’t treat me a like a stranger, you know I seen you naked” – “The Furthest Thing”

“You don’t even know what you want from love anymore/I searched for something I’m missing and disappear when I’m bored.. but girl what qualities was I looking for before…who better for you than the boy, huh?” “Paris Horton”

5) Sobriety Is Still An Issue…

“I still be drink in on the low, f*ckin on the low…smoking on the low..” -“The Furthest Thing”

“Still straight with the weed and the liquor these days/ cuz the new drugs got the kids trippin these days” “Own It”

“I’m bout to roll one and light it and no one’s invited” -“Language”

4) He’s Still Captain Save A….

On Take Care’s cut “The Real Her” he crooned that his friends that he shouldn’t be saving a stripper, but he is still out here trying to get girls through the airport…

“Heard you in trouble at customs/ your girl got a DUI I’ll make the calls to get ya’ll through customs..” “305 To My City”

3) It’s Hers…We Get It

On “Wu-Tang Forever” he repeats to the nameless young lady that “it’s yours, it’s your, it’s yours” only to lead into the song “Own It” where he continues to tell her “it’s yours, it’s yours, it’s yours…” Somewhere we hope T La Rock  is cashing a check.

2) Houston Still Has No Problems…

After establishing “HoustalantaVegas” as his favorite playground  and girls from H-Town stay on the tip of his tongue (“November 18th) J Prince’s hometown still gets more than a few shootouts on NWTS:

“Like H-town in the summertime I keep it 100/ I met a lot of girls in my times there and word to Paul Wall not one fronted/ …backstage at Warehouse in ’09 like ‘is Bun com in’?” – “Too Much”

1) His Uncle Steve Is Still The Man

His uncle stopped messaging him on “Fear” in 2009, but on “Started From The Bottom” he was calling to find out where his car was (“Where ya at? I gave you the keys told ya bring it right back.” ) However, on “Too Much” Drake laments that “I did not sign up for this/ My uncle used to have all these things on his bucket list.”

So, the more things change, the more they stay the same…
