Boston Celtics Superstar Point Guard Rajon Rondo Cleared For Full Contact In Practice
According to the Boston Globe after spending the better part of the last year going through rehab for a torn ACL last season, Rajon Rondo has been cleared for full contact in practice. This is good news for the Celts organization and even though he isn’t expected to be back into the line-up until after the holidays, it’s still putting their team that much closer to having their guy back on the court.
Says Celtics coach Brad Stevens,
“He won’t play in games, is what I’ve been told, until after the first of the year and that still is, we’re talking in big generalities there. I don’t know when that means. It could mean a month from now, it could mean six weeks from now. There’s a lot of different variables that have to be met for him to be cleared for games.”
You know what all that means…it sounds like they are hoping to lower the bar for him which probably means we should be hearing a whole lot of wonderful things from Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrajon Rondo soon!
