Common Continues To Climb ‘The Ladder’ To Success [NEW MUSIC]
Chicago rapper Common is back in the music game after spending some time doing some acting. The MC returns with the track “The Ladder” which was lifted off the mixtape inspired by the HBO series “Game of Thrones.”
The somber track is a story about life with references to the hit drama. Common makes mention of the infamous “Red Wedding” episode and raps, “I think about it when I’m in my zone, my life is like a game of thrones.”

“The Ladder” is one of ten tracks made specifically for the “Game of Thrones” mixtape. Other artists contributing to the hip-hop/reggaeton sounds are Daddy Yankee, Big Boi, Wale, and Magazeen.
Common is also working on his concept album “Nobody Smiling” that is being executive produced by legendary producer No I.D.
