LeBron James Exec-Producing New Starz Series

It looks like Starz is here for black series lately. First it was 50 Cent’s “Power,” and now a new LeBron James executive produced comedy is on the way this fall.

“Survivor’s Remorse” revolves around professional basketball and follows Cam Calloway (played by Jessie T. Usher) who just signed a multi-million dollar deal with an Atlanta team. He travels to the city with his cousin and right-hand man, Reggie Vaughn (played by RonReaco Lee) where they ride the journey to stardom.

According to Shadow and Act, Mike O’Malley, of “Glee” and “Shameless” fame, is a consulting producer and writer on the show. The show also stars TV series vet, Tichina Arnold.

The show is set to premiere October 4 for six episodes. From the looks of the trailer, it looks funny! Watch below.
