Derrick Rose Is Out With Another Knee Injury
Sometimes the limitations of the body is too much for will to overcome. Derrick Rose has been a tragic example of that. He missed a season after tearing his ACL and missed another with a torn right meniscus. Now, he’s again out for the season.
After complaining to team doctors about knee pain and undergoing an MRI, Rose was once again diagnosed with a torn right meniscus. He’ll be out for the season after his scheduled surgery. The Bulls made the unfortunate announcement on Tuesday night.
Chicago is a deep team; Kirk Hinrich or Aaron Brooks like likely step up. But they can’t replace what Rose means to the team and the excitement he brings to fans nationwide. Rose’s health struggles never get easier to watch.
