Darren Sharper To Plea Guilty To Rape In Four States

Former NFL star Darren Sharper is reportedly planning to enter a plea deal in multiple rape cases across four states, early next week according to the New Orleans District Attorney, Leon Cannizzaro

Sharper is still currently in Los Angeles County jail where he has been since February 2014.

Due to the claim of drug distribution with the intent of rape in the New Orleans case, Sharper is also facing federal charges in Louisiana.

Prosecutors in Nevada say his guilty plea of attempted sexual assaults in Las Vegas is expected to leave him with between 38 months and eight years in prison. His previous charge in Nevada included two counts of felony sexual assault, each carrying a possible 10 years to life.

Clark County District Attorney in Nevada, Steve Wolfson says he’s not sure where Sharper will serve his time. But it will definitely be a significant amount of time.
