Tyrese Interested In Appearing On ‘Empire’ Season 2

Tyrese is a huge fan of Taraji P. Henson’s series Empire, but he thinks the show is missing something that only he can supply.

The Furious 7 star told TMZ that he’d be open to appearing on the smash hit FOX drama because he thinks it would be a huge moment. Supposedly, Henson was the one that tossed the idea out while talking to E! News and Tyrese agrees.

“I think she knows what she’s talking about. It’s almost like Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. The world wants to see us together,” he told.

Oprah, Common, and Patti LaBelle are all slated to appear on the next season of Empire. There’s even buzz that Columbus Short might pop up. But, if Tyrese were to appear on the show, he could possibly play a jealous lover from Cookie’s past.

“I’ve had a problem with these Terrence Howards and these other guys on the show, man. Touching, kissing, and hugging. Sh*t ain’t cool,” he joked. “Gotta fix that.”

He added, “No disrespect to Terrence Howard or Derek Luke, but every artist needs an opening act.
