Method Man has always been somewhat of a comedian; his breakout song “Method Man” came with some absurdist humor. He’s acted, too, and his resume ranges from great (he was Cheese from The Wire) to truly awful (Method and Red was a tragedy).
Meth probably will get more shine on screen thanks to Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. He’s set to appear on their upcoming flick Keanu, according to Variety. The film follows a group of friends who pretend to be drug dealers to retrieve a cat. The synopsis sounds like a stoner movie, and Method Man has a good track record when it comes to those.
The Wu-Tang member is also set to play a role in Judd Apatow’s Trainwreck (which stars Amy Schumer) and Adam Sandler’s The Cobbler. It looks like Meth’s resume is still going to be hit and miss.
