On this date 13 years ago, Cam’ron unveiled his 3rd studio album and his first under Roc-A-Fella Records, Come Home With Me. This was a major peak in Cam’ron’s career for 2 reasons.
One, it debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 with over 226,000 sales first week, and eventually certified platinum. Come Home With Me also spawned Cam’ron’s most successful singles, “Oh Boy” and “Hey Ma” featuring Juelz Santana. “Oh Boy” held the number one spot on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop singles for five weeks.
The second significance of Come Home With Me introduced The Diplomats to the public.
