Save The Date: ‘Empire’ Is Back In September!

We always keep you up to date with the latest Empire news, likely because we’re trying to fill a void since season one wrapped in March. We already let you know that the second season will have more episodes than the first, but we officially have a premiere date! Empire season two will kick off September 23.

The show’s Twitter account tweeted the news today (March 29):

Empire will air on Fox in the same 9 p.m. time slot right after the new show Rosewood with Morris Chestnut, according to Time. Empire previously followed American Idol, which premieres in January.
