LeBron James has been making some big moves as his Cavaliers coast atop the Eastern Conference. A week after earning a video investment from Warner Bros, James has signed up to rep Nike for life. The King has signed up a lifetime deal with Nike that’s the largest single-athlete guarantee in history, according to ESPN. No one has confirmed an exact dollar amount
This is interesting because the deal comes when James is no longer the most popular athlete in the world. Steph Curry is leading the MVP conversation these days, and his team is undefeated. However, no one is frothing at the mouth for Curry’s Under Armour sneakers.
A source also said that James’s deal eclipses Kevin Durant‘s 10-year/$300 million with Nike. James went from poverty in Akron, Oh. to being set for life.
