Timbaland Is Releasing A Christmas Mixtape Featuring Aaliyah
Timbaland Is Releasing A Christmas Mixtape Featuring Aaliyah, Rich Homie Quan And Young Thug
It looks like we’ll be having a Timbaland Christmas. A week after Pusha T‘s King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude, Timbaland will drop a new mixtape titled, King Stays High.
The new project will feature the likes of Young Thug, Mila J and Rich Homie Quan. There will also be a track featuring unreleased Aaliyah vocals, and hopefully it will be better than Drake’s 2012 debacle. A question that ought to be asked is if Tink, Timbaland’s protege, will make an appearance. The 20-year-old has been receiving decent critical reviews, but she’s been missing that Hot 100 recognition.
King Stays High preludes a 20-date tour that begins in January, and the much-delayed Textbook Timbo, which is scheduled for an early 2016 release.
