Gwen Stefani Announces New Album On Twitter
Well, it’s about damn time.
Gwen Stefani released The Sweet Escape back in 2006, but she’s back with her first album in almost a decade. Gwen made the announcement on Twitter with a picture of a handwritten tracklisting.
The album’s presumably titled This Is What The Truth Feels Like…, but it’s not officially confirmed. The 12-track LP features Gwen’s lead single “Used To Love You,” which was a breakup ballad written about her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. The album’s next single is titled “Make Me Like U,” which could be a message to her new X-Factor bae, Blake Shelton.
The tracklisting doesn’t list any features, but in previous interviews, the No Doubt frontwoman mentioned that she was reuniting with frequent collaborator/X-Factor colleague Pharrell Williams.
Unfortunately, the album has no release date, but stay tuned; it could be arriving sooner than you think.
