WATCH: J. Cole Makes Surprise Appearance During Drake’s Last NYC Show

Here’s a name we don’t get to say that often.

J. Cole came out from the rock he’s been hiding under to surprise fans during Drake‘s last night in New York for his Summer Sixteen Tour. Cole performed fan favorites “No Role Modelz” and “A Tale of 2 Citiez” from 2014 Forest Hills Drive, as well as his verse off Jeremih’s “Planez.”

Cole and Drake have a history that dates back to when both rappers just got signed. After Cole finished his set, Drake gave the rapper high praise by calling him “one of the smartest, greatest, most legendary artists of our generation.”

For Drizzy’s final Big Apple performance of his tour, he brought out other NYC greats as well. Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, Fat Joe, and Remy Ma all took the stage Monday night, giving fans just what they came for.
