The new season of “Love & Hip-Hop NY” is in full swing and viewers are slowly becoming more familiar with the key players.  Jen “The Pen” Bayer is involved with rapper Consequence and they have one child together named Caiden.  But how much do we know about this Gossip Girl from Staten Island?

5) Jen started out as a personal assistant for songwriter Adonis. “Shout out to Adonis for dealing with my wackiness,” she said in an interview with True Stories Radio.  She went on to style Ray J with no prior experience. “Relationships are key. Be nice and humble to everyone. I styled the second shoot of “Sexy Can I” and I killed it.” She also interned for Wendy Williams.

4) “Love & Hip-Hop” is not her first reality TV rodeo. Jen appeared on Dame Dash’s “Ultimate Hustler” show in 2004 and the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder gave Jen her nickname  “The Pen” because she literally wrote everything down. “I didn’t want to f*ck anything up.”

3) Eventually Jen wanted to do her own reality show, linking with Dipset’s Duke Da God for “Hills To Harlem” in 2008. “He’s a funny man. I’m learning a lot about Mr. Duke. He’s very aloof. ‘HTH’ is my Jen The Pen, very white self meets Harlem. Expect a lot of laughs. My blond moments with Duke’s cloudy brain expect a lot of laughs. On the first show we were talking about government cheese.”

2) Ran a blog where she broke the story that Bow Wow was stalking Dollicia Bryant.  She co-hosted a radio show with DJ Whookid on Show on Shade 45. “I do the gossip and hangout with the porn stars.” And had a show  on iTunes.

1) Her favorite porn star is Roxy Reynolds. “Roxy didn’t smell porn-starish to me. She looked beautiful, she was glowing and cool as sh*t,” she said in a separate True Stories interview.  But she isn’t into girls. “I love penis too much. I’m only touching my own boobs.”
