Sunday Inspiration: DeVon Franklin Says To “Run Your Race” [VIDEO]

DeVon Franklin is living the charmed life. Besides being the VP of Production at Columbia Pictures, Franklin is a published author, whose book “Produced By Faith” caught the eye of the all mighty Oprah Winfrey, and is enjoying the married life with “Deception” star Meagan Good.

Franklin’s other passion is his thriving mission, encouraging people to reach their full potential spiritually and professionally. He recently gave a sermon “Run Your Race” at One Church L.A., addressing personal career pitfalls we experience in our lives:

“When you look at industries across the globe, those who are in positions of power, influencing the world–very few of them are believers. I began to think are we not as talented, are we not as smart or proficient in business? Why aren’t there more of us in these positions helping to set the course for this world? Then I realized it’s because there most be something wrong with the way we’re running.”
