The Grammys keep snubbing Nas. The Queens rapper has been nominated a whopping 13 times and has not won a single award, which is surprising because “Life is Good” was hailed as one of the best albums of 2012.

He is not the only great artist who has been upset by the Grammys. Take a look and see some legends who have never won.

Queen

Total nominations: 2

The rock band was nominated for their hit, “Another One Bites the Dust” (which made it to number two on the Billboard R&B charts), and the oh-so-epic “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Jimi Hendrix

Total nominations: 0

He was also another artist who received a Lifetime Achievement award, but not an actual Grammy.

Tupac Shakur

Total nominations: 6

Figured he would at least win an award for his posthumous work, but Tupac got no wins.

Snoop Dogg

Total nominations: 13

Dang, Snoop. Maybe his name change will garner him more luck. You know the Grammys love gimmicks.

Diana Ross

Total nominations: 12

Despite never winning an award, she received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement award in 2012.

Bob Marley

Total nominations: 1

Surprisingly, the only song Marley was nominated in 2001 with Lauryn Hill for “Turn Your Lights Down Low”, but it didn’t win. He got a Grammy Lifetime Achievement award in 2011.

Notorious B.I.G.

Total nominations: 4

He was nominated for Best Rap Solo Performance for “Big Poppa” and a couple of posthumous nominations for “Hypnotize” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.”

Run D.M.C.

Total nominations: 3

They were the first hip hop group to ever receive a nomination, but they never won.

Public Enemy

Total nominations: 5

Damn, Chuck D and company just didn’t get any respect. However, they have been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The O’Jays

Total nominations: 4

They have been nominated for Best R&B Performance by a Group a few times, but just couldn’t take home an award. Guess the Grammys weren’t on board for that “Love Train.”

Teddy Pendergrass

Total nominations: 5

The Grammys “closed” the door a few times on Tedd, but he was nominated for Best R&B Male Performance all five times.

Curtis Mayfield

Total nominations: 7

Not even being nominated for Best Original Score for “Super Fly” could get Curtis Mayfield a Grammy, but he has a Lifetime Achievement Award.
