Dad Gets Caught On Facebook Flashing Money For Dodging Child Support
If You Owe Child Support, Don’t Flash Cash On Facebook
Criminals, of any type, just stay off of Facebook. Well that’s what Christopher Robinson should have done since he hasn’t been paying child support for the past three years. He posted pictures to his account posing with money and popping bottles of liquor. Now he is facing three felony counts for failing to pay, according to ABC News.

Robinson, 23, was supposed to be paying $150 per month for his 3-year-old child, but it looks like he just never got around to it. (Poppin’ bottles is a full-time job!) The Milwaukee County Chief Deputy District Attorney Kent Lovern said they try to build their case wherever they can, and Facebook has been the best place to look. “Facebook has become a repository for information that we may not … know about,” he said.
Searching the most popular social network might not be as easy as logging in. A complaint has to be filed and then the proper evidence must be gathered to “suggest a sufficient level of probable cause.”
Investigators can then look for details on whether a person has been misleading about his or her lifestyle, Lovern said. For example, said Lovern, “Someone who claims to not have resources to make their payments, actually does have resources.”
Robinson was served with an arrest warrant, but he never showed up to court. If he is found guilty he can face up to 11 years in prison.
