Erica Mena's "Where Do I Go" Video: 9 Ridiculous Moments

“Love & Hip-Hop” cast member Erica Mena released the video to her song “Where Do I Go From Here?” and it’s quite a titillating affair.  Directed by J Jesses Smith, we are brought into a day in the life of Mena when she finds out that someone she loved named Sally has a one track mind that is no longer pulling into her station.

As first videos go it isn’t horrible, but some of it just didn’t make any sense. Erica clearly studied at the Jennifer Lopez school of face emoting in videos but that doesn’t make up for the huge plot holes in this clip.

Here are the 9 most ridiculous moments from the “Where Do I Go From Here?” video.

9)You come home to a Hennessy bottle…on the desk. Your industry age might be 25 but you’re given away your 1974 birth certificate by sipping on Henrock in the afternoon, ma. We know Nuvo, Remy or Dussee coulda slid you a prop bottle.

8) You’re in a bathtub with your clothes and no water but these soap bubbles mysteriously appear. We know those True Religion jeans are dry clean only but this is taking it too far.

7) You got a Dear Jane letter in 2013. People don’t break up with letters anymore. You get a passive aggressive text at 2 am, then the FB status just gets changed to “Single,” you get unfollowed on Twitter and blocked on Instagram. And why was the paper so wrinkled? (see # 1)

6) Who is in this other picture frame? There is already one with you and your girl the Joseline look-a-like. So did she leave you a framed photo of who she left you for? Who does that???

5) You’re struggling to get that chunky ring off your MIDDLE finger. It wasn’t even a friendship/promise/holdthistilwegetengaged ring on your RING finger. It was a “I was at Forever 21and thought this would look cute on your Hennessy drink in ass” ring.

4) How much Molly did you pop to make you think getting in the tub with your clothes on was a good idea? We put this gif in reverse to help it make sense, since you were already in the tub with your bubbles at the BEGINNING.

3) Now that you’ve (thankfully) taken your blouse and jeans off you wanna Hulk smash on the water like it dumped you. Now your cellphone is all wet and you gotta pay a $150 deductible for a new Blackberry. But wait, this is 1996 where people still write letters so you’re good.

We didn’t think this was ridiculous. Just needed to pause for the cause…ok..

2) A wall slide in the shower. Seriously? Again, Toni Braxton did the whole wall slide thing in 1997 so this is further proof that you filmed this in a time machine.

1) Sally got a one track mind that didn’t include you anymore, but why is this letter so wrinkled? Did she recycle this from a paper jam at her Kinko’s gig? Was it wet from all the splashing you did in the bathroom and dried out while ya’ll shot the other scenes? We know directors shoot things out of order but don’t make it so damn obvious!
