Rappers are always talking about not knowing whether people want to continue to be in their lives because of their money or for who they are once all the adulation has stopped. Philly rapper Meek Mill says he has had this problem since his breakthrough track “I’m A Boss” became a smash. Now that he’s beginning to settle into fame, Meek Mill has begun airing out people who ask him for money.
Meek Mill recently posted a full text conversation he had with a childhood friend who is in need of some money. Actually, Meek’s friend asked him for $5,000. Meek wasn’t feeling the conversation and embarrassed the guy on Instagram. Check the photos below.
What would you do if you were the friend Meek Mill embarrassed? Sure, asking for money over Twitter is tickety tacky, but something tells me that the friend had to swallow a lot of pride just to ask for that handout. Sound off in the comments.
