There are some creative kids that go to Hickory High School in Chesapeake, Virginia. As their senior prank, a few students posted an ad on Craigslist saying the school was up for sale.
The ad was posted sometime around 10 pm on June 5th. Potential buyers were tempted with an ad that read, “Hello we are selling Hickory High School to the highest bidder. We are raising money to help all the graduating seniors.” When people inquired about buying the property, they called the number listed on the advertisement which turned out to be Hickory High School’s front office phone number.
Quite a few graduating seniors who had nothing to do with the prank said that this prank was one of the funniest things they had ever seen or heard of. The post was taken down nearly 12 hours after when it was first placed on the site.
