The Summer of 2013 has been pretty stoked with big budget films, comedies and indie darlings, but which ones should you definitely see? TheUrbanDaily.com will be counting down the must-see summer movies that are already in theaters and coming soon to a big screen near you!

10. “The Grandmasters” (opens August 23rd)

Asian biopics are rare in Hollywood, but Weinstein Co. is betting big on this epic re-telling of Wing Chun master  Ip Man. Tony Leung stars in the title role, chronicling the life of Hong Kong’s most prolific martial arts teacher, who would end up instructing future superstar Bruce Lee.  With lush cinematography courtesy of Philippe Le Sourd and kinetic combat scenes, “The Grandmasters” could prove to be this summer’s sleeper hit.

TRAILER:

9.  “The Butler” (opens August 16th)

From its all-star line up (Forest Whitaker, John Cusack, Jane Fonda, Robin Williams), to Terrence Howard’s controversial comments about Oprah’s bosom, Lee Daniel’s third feature film has already been one of the most talked about projects for 2013. Whitaker plays Cecil Gaines, who served as a butler for 34 years at The White House under eight presidents.

8. “Grown Ups 2” (opens July 12th)

The boys are back in town!  The sequel picks up three years later as  Lenny Feder (Adam Sandler) moves back to his childhood hometown.  Lenny and his friends (Chris Rock, David Spade, Kevin James) must deal with bullies, schizo bus drivers and obnoxious frat boys, proving even the suburbs have their own brand of crazy.
