E-40 Donates Thousands To The Salvation Army
E-40 Donates $10,000 To The Salvation Army
Bay area rap legend E-40 is using his fame and fortune to give back to the community that made him the man he is today. The rapper recently donated $10,000 to The Salvation Army.
E-40 explained what pushed him to give back to his hometown of Vallejo, California, “My mother and father divorced when I was [eight]. They did what they could do. When times got heavy, me and mom had to come over here [to the Salvation Army]…I knew I had to come out to my soil. I’m trying to give back.”
Not only is E-40 giving back to his community, he is also urging others to get in on the positive gesture. E-40 stated, “I’m no better than anyone else. “I’m just playing my part. I can’t save the world, but I do what I can to save my community.”
