Technically this isn’t a surprise that Pharrell Williams will be performing at the Oscars on March 2 considering his hit song, “Happy,” is nominated for Best Song, but it’s still great to get a confirmation.

He is up against “Let It Go” from “Frozen, “Ordinary Love” from “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom” and “The Moon Song” from “Her,” according to Deadspin. “Let It Go” took home the Best Song award at this year’s Golden Globes, so we will have to wait and see if the song that continues to cheer us up through 2014 will get the golden statue.
