Matthew Knowles Gets A Big Win In Child Support Case

In Matthew Knowles‘ case, it pays to be fired by your superstar daughter. Beyonce’s dad and former manager recently got his child support lowered for his three-year-old son with Alexsandra Wright because, by his definition, he’s poor.

As manager of Beyonce, Matthew Knowles was raking in millions of dollars on a regular basis. However, once Beyonce fired him in 2011, his income dropped faster than he could imagine. Knowles went from making three million dollars to $127,000. Due to his smaller income, Kniowles asked the judge presiding over his child support battle with Wright to reduce his payments of $12,000 a month to something he could afford without going into debt.

The judge looked into Knowles’ finances and agreed to cut Knowles some slack. Matthew was ordered to pay Wright $2,485. While this is a good thing for Knowles, bios baby mama Alexsandra Wright isn’t too pleased. She is still living off $300 in food stamps.
