Tank Brings Happiness Back To R&B With New Song

R&B singer/songwriter Tank once said artists needed to start making happy R&B records again. Tank is leading by example with the upbeat horn-driven “You’re My Star.”

The song, which is scheduled to appear on his upcoming album titled “Stronger,” finds the crooner his woman with love and compliments. “You’re my prized possession ever known/I would rather die than let you go  girl/Can’t describe this feeling in my soul,” the crooner sings.

This song may seem a bit familiar to you. That’s because it features a sample of The Jacksons’ hit song “This Place Hotel.”
