Lion-O’s Thundercats Fail [VIDEO]
If you grew up in the ’80s you are familiar with Lion-O, Lord the of the Thundercats, unsheathing his Sword of Omens when he got into a pickle. While the man child could usually hold his own in a fight against Mumm-Ra and his Mutant minions, sometimes he needed to call back-up.
“Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats…Ho!” is the ubiquitous battle cry that brought Panthro, Cheetara, Tygra and the gang scurrying from all corners of Third Earth to save Lion-O’s red-haired self. But how did he know that this was the way to get their attention?
In this clip from Adult Swim’s “Robot Chicken” we get a look at the first draft of Lion-O’s battle cry. All we have to say is practice makes perfect.
