Turk Is Also Reportedly Suing Cash Money for Royalties
After jumping on the scene with Get It How U Live!, two members of Hot Boys are taking their own advice and are suing Cash Money over royalties. Lil Wayne is one. Turk, as of Thursday (Feb. 5), is another.
Turk, who hasn’t released an album since 2005, is suing Birdman‘s label $1.3 million for unpaid royalties. He’s arguing that Cash Money has “done some shady accounting and kept the info on his real earnings under wraps,” according to TMZ.
This is just a fraction of the $51 million Lil Wayne is going after Birdman for, but it’s very possible Weezy has started an avalanche. We’re already coming to terms with the fact that a random verse of the year Birdman appearance may never appear on another Drake album. Now, it looks like Cash Money is falling apart.
