Jordin Sparks Confirms Sage The Gemini Relationship

It’s been a few weeks since Jordin Sparks started sharing pics of herself getting cozy with rapper Sage The Gemini on Instagram, and now the American Idol grad has made their relationship official in a new interview with People.

“I think they’re pretty obvious,” Sparks said about the pictures. “We’re having fun. He’s a really good guy, and the pictures speak for themselves … I don’t just kiss people!”

The news comes several months after Sparks split from Jason Derulo back in September.

Speaking with People, the singer also offered up an explanation for her nickname, “baemaxx,” for her new guy.

“Well, you know, Big Hero 6, the big guy was [named] Baymax,” she said. “We watched that two weeks ago … and I was like, ‘I love the name Baymax,’ ” she said. “[Sage] was like, ‘I’m your bae to the max,’ and I was like, ‘That’s your nickname!'”
