Entertainment News: Chris Tucker's Netflix Lawsuit & More
Chris Tucker Sued Over Netflix Stand-Up Special Before July 10 Premiere
Chris Tucker, whose Netflix stand-up special is due out on July 10, is experiencing legal troubles in the form of comedian Terry Hodges suing both Tucker and Netflix, claiming he’s worked on the special and hasn’t been regularly paid since 2011, according to TMZ.
Hodges also claims that he and Tucker started working on material for the special in 2008. Tucker’s attorney Marty Singer told TMZ, “This lawsuit is absurd and completely without merit. We fully expect this case to be thrown out by the court.”
