Live Forever: Kendrick Lamar Responds To President Obama’s Cosign
Earlier this week, the POTUS and FLOTUS revealed their favorite songs of 2015, and Obama shocked many by revealing that he bumps Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE Magazine, President Obama revealed he specifically loves Kendrick Lamar’s “How Much A Dollar Cost.”
Kendrick is thrilled that the President of the United States is listening to his music, let alone choosing it as his favorite song of the year. While rushing through the airport, he told TMZ, “That’s great, man.”
When asked about the meaning behind the song, Kendrick dropped a life gem, saying, “Help as many people as you can. You gon’ live forever.” No wonder the Commander-in-Chief gets his advice from this guy’s music.
